Yup. I've tried it with my .44cal ROA, using a perfect copy of a late 19thC cartridge forming tool and Rizlas. TBH, it's a PITA, but makes loading a cinch. However, if you do a TAMS, you'll find that it takes about fourteen times longer to make one than it does to reload the usual way...
So for me, it's a conversation-maker and not a serious way of reloading any cap & ball revolver.
