    I've always used a blower on compressed air to get the crud out of my scopes mag / ao rings.... Works a treat for me... Best method is to cycle the rings in a clockwise and anti clockwise motion with one hand, whilst blowing air under the skirt of the ring using the blower..... You will be surprised what comes out

    dip them in vodka. I heard it was a good degreaser

    and when you can't hit anything once its back on the rifle you can say its because your scope is still hung over
