    how many refills

    evening chaps

looking for some info, had an itch for a while now to get back into airgunning after a lot of years,at present i have a couple of rimfires but rarely use the .22 as i only use it on a couple of perms so am contemplating getting a brocock bantam .22 FAC to replace it,this will then do for those perms on rabbit and my other perms for pigeon and squirrel

so how may fills approx(gun bottle 480cc)would i get out of a 7ltr bottle and can i expect 100yd shots from this gun shooting at 30 ft lbs if i do my bit

Number of fills is a common question on the BBS.

And I do hope you are not serious about 100yard bunny bashing with an air rifle.
Whether you think you can or think you can't, you're probably right.

No it will not do 100yd shots.

My .22lr with 40gn subs has 96ftlb ME, so your FAC air will have less than 1/3rd the energy with a pellet just under 1/2 the weight at 75% of the velocity.

asking the question because there seems to be plenty of videos with people shooting at 100yds and others using sub 12ft lb shooting at 60 plus yds so i would have thought looking at that, that 100yds with FAC should have been doable, but maybe not

Have you considered buying some .22lr shorts or bb. If you do you will have a short range .22lr

Stick with the rimfire and use shorts at close distance cci-cb long or rws z-lang both are very good putting out 28lb or 45lb in short barrel rifles and are good for pigeon on the grain heaps in the barn or were the normal round is too often powerful. If you use caps you can have a 10 yards rat gun

    Good read here
