Bye bye.
    An interesting response ?
There was no argument intended .
Observations based on experience - will always differ .
It seems intelligent debate is not allowed .

With reference to doubting Gareth the RB2 .25 in question with serial number 1001 is the second one made ser no.1000 the first which i was told by a man from B.S.A. they always keep the first production model for them selves so i have the first .25 stutzen sold any where. A local R.F.D. friend of mine wants it for his private collection, so if i ever do sell it he gets first bite at the bit and i know if i pushed him he would pay a bit more. So to coin a phrase you have not seen it all mate.

Then here I am most happy to stand totally corrected and substitute my BBQ food for a slice of humble pie, as armed with the background info particular to your RB2 .25 Stutzen, I can see where -- and how -- that potential sale price fits the story.

I'm the happy owner of that £20 cobra strike + .22 barrel.
It is a bit tatty but it is the nicest springer I've ever used.
( just add Simmons 1.5 x 5 whitetail and Rhinos and it is pukka.)
As it happens I beat him up from his asking price of £10 , because he said he had a.177 barrel as well, but he never found it.
Bugger I got ripped off, but you live and learn, I suppose.

All the very best to all, and your loved ones.
    Simon.

Ps, I have been lead to believe that it has visited SFS.
PPS, I got the whitetail for £30 or £35 ,so, a real budget combo.
