Vintage Beeman R1 in .177. Valuation.

Hello all. Sorry for another 'what's it worth'thread, but it's time to look to you lads- the experts, for some info.

I have in my Possesion, an almost mint beautiful condition Beeman R1 imported to Hunntigdon Beach, California. Everything original, even the factory grease in the trigger. Front sight is missing. Essentially an HW80, but an import for the US market. Not many of these in the UK!

I started to collect these bee mans, but now need the cash for fishing gear!

I presume if an older one it has a stock much like the earlier HW77s? Extended forend, checkering and capping to the grip? The only other visible difference being the beeman blurb on the trigger block?

Some will say it's just an HW80, but like you said, not many over here. If in near new/collectors condition I'd say £300+ to the right person.

    Sounds about right to me.

Manchester Airguns used to sell them.

The stock is exactly as described. I'll try to get some pics up soon. Thanks for the inputs so far

    R1

I have one in .22 and I paid £250 for it 5 years ago. No front sight fitted but they came with a rubber type muzzle protector. Mach 1.5
