    That's looking great! I would love to find one of these, but they seem hard to come by. All the antique arms fairs are too far from here.

    Hi Solvo the pitting was all got out by hand (no machines) using aluminium oxide paper and a lot of hard work
    action was polished to near mirror finish

    Serious bit of elbow grease there.
    I was just curious as I have an old Dianna i need to renovate which is in a rather sorry state; the pitting on the cylinder is just too severe to rub out sadly.

    Hope your next project turns out as well!
