Only £500? Tear the seller's arm off - a local dealer is selling one for £650.

    No bits, remember....

You should have bought them both.

Ah, silly me, this is the UK and you can't do that kind of thing....

I payed 600 for my "un fired, as new" stainless one and thought it was over priced. Looks like it was a good buy.!! How ever, i payed a lot less for my
nickel short barrel model also as new/un fired condition so maybe that was a real bargain.!! :-)

Greatest .44/.45cal BP revolvers ever made, from the POV of sheer strength in manufacture. A great pity, then, that Sturm, Ruger Inc cannot provide any spares that are not common with the Blackhawk/Super Blackhawk cartridge-firing revolvers.

I can get exact replacement s/s nipples here in Oregon, and do so for those here on this forum who require them, and a working wrench, too, but apart from that, you're stuck.

Hi. I have a Ruger Old Army for sale. Its in very good condition. Stainless. 7.5" barrel. Fixed sights. Lovely crisp trigger. I bought it from Joe at Gunshop Barnet five years ago - it was his personal gun. I doubt I've used it more than a dozen times. Comes in the original plastic case. Yours for not a penny less that £500

If anyone is interested I can send pictures.

A bargain, Sir, after the few I've seen at £600 and more......if only I didn't have one already.
