I never owned a spring airgun, but it is somewhat disturbing to watch.

Mmmm...No, I don't think so. I wouldn't be wasting time pratting around with the gun.....
Oh, this was about an air rifle was it, can't say I noticed one
Shooting Air Rifles is like being a pubic hair on a toilet seat.
Eventually someone comes a long and P's you off.
They usually have a PCP
watch a bit,then got bored
That is how accidents happen, pure ignorance. Somebody, for god sake instruct them properly. As it's his first rifle then I am appalled the person who sold it to them didn't give them some instruction. They obviously didn't realise that that rifle could kill somebody. At a recent coroners court a 13 year old was killed by an air rifle when he was shot in the neck by accident. (Where were the parents and why were they not supervising the boys "playing" with the rifle. Kept it in an airing cupboard.
The girl was actually pointing it at the camera at one point. Crazy! Was not shown how to load it correctly. Butt on the hip, break the breach and HOLD it till the pellet loaded. They are dangerous!
First rules of shooting:-
- Never point it at anything you don't intend to shoot.
- Always assume it is loaded.
It's videos like that that will cause us to have licencing brought in south of the border. That will not stop numpties causing injuries though.
