    Webley Senior .177 info help please

    Another of my inherited guns im looking for help with in selling

    Boxed Senior .177 though box is tatty and has been taped Spare seals in the box

    Very nice clean condition indeed, serial number S16605 letter P under the left hand grip

    605 on the front to match serial number. 177S near front sight

    It's a prewar slant grip model - 1935 - 1939. Looks all original and the rear slot is perfect and looks like no rust line where it has lain in the box. No sure why it shows a leather cup washer as this pistol should have a phosphorus bronze piston ring. If the grips are not cracked or chipped I would guess at £250 - £300 on a good day

    It was wrapped in what looked like vintage grease proof paper with oil in the paper in the box.

    No Webley name on the grips though, is that correct ?

    Yes pre war slant grip seniors didn't have Webley on the grips.

    You should add pics of the left side of the pistol and the top of the box.
