    Original mod 5 trigger adjustment

    Does anyone know how to lighten the trigger on the above please, thanks

    I have a 1948 Mk5, and it adjusts the same as my 'modern' ones.

    Sfter loosening the lock screw, you set the sear by rotating the outer collar - this is usually with the ball bearing just touching before release, and that allows the small amount of final trigger movement needed to trip the sear.

    Too much travel and there is creep, not enough and you will not have a two-stage trigger.

    After you have set the sear to your liking, the inner screw in the collar is used to set the trigger weight. After you have done, tighten the lock screw.
