    value advice....venom scope + mount.

I have a venom 2-7 x 32 ao scope and venom 1 piece mount, what would be the selling price for this?
I have previously been told around the £150 mark or would I be better off putting it on the bay of fleas?

    Thanks for reading

I found the 2x7 x32 the rarest one out the bunch to get hold of

I think it was you that gave me a value some weeks ago Mach...unfortunately I couldn't remeber what you said and I had deleted the pm so wasn't able to check.

As for the offers,my apologies but this is a thread asking about value and not a sales thread which would be against the rules ( I think)
I am not 100% sure if I will be seliing it yet as I will have to have another go with it,I don't normally like vari mag scopes and due to old eyes I much prefer 10x....but if I can't get on with it on 7x then it will be up for sale, I will know by tomorrows end if I will be keeping or selling it and if its the latter it may well be getting sold with the hw77k venom.

IIRC Hakko made most of the Optima range.

How much a Venom badged Hakko? On par with Optima, so really a mid range scope and basic build. Hakko did some high quality scopes but these aren't their highest builds. A Leuold or B&L would be a higher class scope and regularly found on high ticket priced Venom custom rifles. More standard the Venom rifle then the more likely a good match for such a same branded scope. Venom bought a bunch of scopes for a short time and never in great numbers, so definitely nice to have.
The rest is on condition, the more "like new" the better. If it matched a Venom Rifle for condition and style and mounted correctly then worthy of a good premium, but there is a limit.

So I would think £150 in superb condition which is a good premium. Much after that then there are better scopes that would complement a Venom rifle better. This model is nice but not the most features of all the Venoms scopes one.
