Hello guys,
Just a quick one please...
I ordered a CS stock for a HW95 which arrived a few days ago and before I swap it with the standard stock I was wondering if there is anything I should know about the installation please?
From what I have heard they are a 'drop in' fit, I'm really hoping this is true!
Any tips, tricks or advice would be very gratefully received.
Many thanks,
Chris

and don't forget the pictures !
I had a cs800 for a 95 last year that would not fit as the cut outs for the barrel pivot bolt was not exactly in the right place so it was stopping the action going in to line up front action screws.just needed a bit of sanding to make it fit.
I had to bore out the holes a bit more to get my CS500 to fit my HW80, but now it fits like a glove
Make sure you put some flat washers in the front screw holes so that the screws don't chew into the wood, had this happen with a cs700 I received on a secondhand rifle that had already gone through because some wazzock didn't put washer on the screws.

Far too many rifles to list now, all mainly British but the odd pesky foreigner has snuck in
Thank you everyone, I'm dreading doing it to be honest but fingers crossed it is uneventful!

I've had a few and never had a problem- not one!

Surely if you paid that amount of monies for a stock you'd be annoyed if you had to modify it yourself...!
I would.

2 ferrets and a net...
You may just need a bit of sanding or very slight adjustment to the fit here and there but nothing major.

I had to remove quite a bit of wood before i could cock the gun without the breech block scraping
Blimey...I don't like the sound of this.
It'll be like something out of a comedy movie or the sketch on Father Ted with the car when he tries to take a dent out with a hammer (Google it if you want a laugh!)
"Just a bit here, a little bit here..." before you know it I'll be left with a twig.

It's luck of the draw mate, some fit perfect and some don't, hope you are one of the lucky ones, atb Daz
Chris,
The CS800 I got for my TX200 fitted like a glove.
Have fun
Best regards
