It must be so difficult for you all right now, but if there's anything we can do - please say.

Continued best wishes Tone, from our family to yours.

And yep - it's 16 sleeps to go.

    Thank you so much.

The new IV drug, OxyCodeine (or something like that) does seem to be suiting her better and, as yesterday went on, she made a marked improvement. Fingers crossed that this improvement has continued. Later yesterday she was also stood for a few seconds and managed a very small walk across her room. The IV may be coming off today - everything else already removed. So, hopefully we're over the worst and the focus is on recovering from the surgery and building her strength up ready for the next stage which will be dictated by the test results. Apparently one or two of these are expected today, others next week.

Thanks for the virtual Man hugs by lovely people and can't wait for the real versions!

    Thank you, peeps.

Okay. She's home and looking a little perkier.

This little bundle of skin and bone needs to rest and build herself up. She's eating fine and mum's been buying and making lots of her favourite food so, hopefully, she'll get stronger and stronger each day.

Going by the results so far, it's a germ cell tumour, so the best possible outcome. And when they did the operation, they removed the fluids that surrounded the tumour - all clear.

So, looking good. We have an appointment with the Oncology people on Wednesday when they will have more of the results back. There is a chance that it's all gone and that no further intervention will be required, but we'll see on Wednesday. We did speak with one of the student nurses who was looking after Frankie when she was on the Oncology ward just over a week ago, and she sort of tried to temper the short term euphoria and warned against counting those chickens too soon. So, we're being realistic, but ever so hopeful.

Thanks for all the lovely messages, peeps.
