Seriously hope to as we won't make the November bash this year. The Sunday coincides with our trip to India.

    Go Monday Dave.

Hope to see you both in September

It's like a ghost town here now, everyone making their way home, it must be so strange for Mick and Shirl with so many people there one minute and gone the next.
What a weekend though, the recycling center will need a bigger lorry to move the mountain of bottles and cans!
Nick rose to the occasion by sleeping in his motor two nights rather than taking the cosy option of going home.
The court order was duly served on the bongo clan (and they actually left)
Field Marshall baldinio led all the children into battles, made pirate ships and rafts to sail down the stream and was generally a thoroughly good egg.
Gwyn partied like it was 1999 as always, but thankfully didn't tire himself out, he also awarded all the children who bravely served in skirmishes with baldy medals of honour.
Paul was the life of the party as usual, almost outmatched at times by Dave, particularly when he got completely lagged in molton marsh mallows.
Steve was the happy chappy cheeky little chappy he always is.......
Personally I now need to sleep for a week.
Do it all again in just over three weeks.

But I'd been told he wasn't nick-named (sic!) "Short Stroke Nick" for his airgun tweakery preferences!

I have no idea where these rumours came from, but I am grateful.

Thank you Tony, I shall be doing my usual trick of shuffling around trying to scrounge free advice from all you knowledgeable chaps (rather hoping I can find an FWB expert to offer thoughts on my 300). See you all there.

WonkyDonky is very knowledgeable on the FWB300 but we haven't seen him recently. Be lovely to see him again.

And I seem to remember that Jon Budd is, too, and I think he's coming along.

Have you been tinkering with anything else of late?

No, the croquet season has precedence in the summer (summer???) months, but the idea of a really nice break barrel in .177 is incubating quietly in anticipation of the indoor days of winter.

It'll be upon us before we know it. The question is:

How much fishing tackle do I take?? (or can fit in the van)
