Update....Frankie and mum are now home. When we were there earlier, the consultant came and spoke with us. The team had had their get together and come to a decision and the main surgeon is confident that they can remove the tumour in one go and that that will be the best course of action rather than taking a biopsy. Took some more bloods, said we could go for the weekend and that they would be in touch re a date for the procedure, likely to be later next week, maybe the following week, dates subject to assembling their preferred team.

On the way home, they rang Sarah's mobile. The operation will take place this coming Monday. And they will study the tumour once out to ascertain if any further action will be required.

Just to confirm what a brave little warrior she is, last night she told mum that the cancer thing doesn't faze her as they have studied cancer in biology and realises what needs to be done! Her strength and positivity is helping us keep strong.

Many thanks to each and every one of you. I simply don't have enough time at the moment to message you all individually, but your love and well wishes are very much appreciated. Every message with positive vibes means so much to all of us right now. Sarah had previously decided to put it on her Faceache page, rather than trying to hide things, feeling that the more positive vibes and well wishes received can only be a good thing.

Frankie's gonna beat this thing, and you will have all helped.
