Well I will be packing my bags this evening and setting off around 4am in the morning. Trouble is it will be 300 miles in the opposite direction to The Hollow

As much as I love my family and going to Ireland, I will miss The Bash but especially the the fine people as per yourself mate. Maybe I should Skype in one evening and 'join' you around the fire

Nah, I've not fished since I was about 13 and I got into airguns, Pauly.

I met many of my early airgunning buddies through fishing on the canal, though. I used catapults to shoot the rats and the Webley Premier was the choice of many anglers as a "side tool". And my very first airgun, a Relum 822 () was bought for a fiver from the girl next door who used to come and fish with us.

Besides, with all the man hugs flying about at the weekend I simply wouldn't have the time, although I might just be able to squeeze a couple of shots downrange if I'm lucky.

Man hugs in the bank for you, matey, and it really would be nice to see you before November if you do venture oop North.

I was never into fishing either as I was too much of a fidget arse and couldn't sit still or stay in one spot for long. Now, a catapult..... I'm gonna get myself one very soon and see if I can get reasonably accurate with it now I've got room at my permission to practice on

Well, I better try and get some shut-eye as I'm up at 3am.

I've got wifi at my brothers place so I'll be on here daily to see how you are all getting on leading up to The Bash and of course any shenanigans that occur over the weekend
