I don't like wearing one (but the wife insists)

A bit of humour in the title but a serious question. I always wear a head net when hunting rabbits but am not at all keen especially when the weather gets hotter. My question is do you use these or not?, and how much difference if any do you realistically feel they make as regards concealment?. It will be interesting to read your experiences on this one.

    Kindest regards

I don't use one. I'll sometimes use a face veil when I'm shooting squirrels in the woods.

When I hunt rabbits, It's usually just a camo cap.

    All of the above.

Just look on the front cover of the July issue of A/G World and then page 63. What stands out most on p63 ? The shooters head ! If you wear camouflage, then wear the complete outfit. After all, you've paid a lot of money for it.

I wear a camo head-over with just an eye slit whenever I'm out hunting or vermin shooting, including out with NV at night.

Human skin stands out & reflects light surprisingly well.

I use one as it keeps the horseflies and mozzies off my face.

I use an ex US army face veil which I picked up years ago. The piece that fits on top of the head is standard camo pattern (old) and the rest is a very fine all round mesh which doesn't impede vision but keeps insects out. Good for pigeons.
