Hi,

Last week I got the above barrel from Germany. With the JSB Exact 4.52s it is pellet on pellet at 55 yards. I have tuned the rifle to produce 11.7 ft.lbs across the range.
JSB 4.52, 8.44 grs 790 ft/s
JSB Exact express 7.9 grs 815 ft/s
JSB Exact heavies 10.3 grs 716 ft/s
These are the average of 10 shots.
I get 90 shots out of my A&M carbine cylinder.

What has puzzled me is that the BC of first two pellets ( I haven't tested the Heavies extensively with the new barrel yet ) seem to be much higher than with with my 31 cm K barrel.
To hit a 40mm target at 70 yards ( outdoor range with a breeze blowing )with a 30 yard zero I only require 3 mildots @ 10X. MTC Viper 10X44
52 yards requires 1.5 mildots and 56 yards is just under two mildots, 45 yards is bang on 1 mildot.
I knew that the BC of pellets were barrel dependent but this is very surprising indeed.
Could it be that the longer barrel and slightly higher power is spinning the pellets far more efficiently.
The BC of the first two pellets before the barrel change was .02 and 0.019 with the 31 cm K barrel.
Any thoughts?
