help with opening airgun cylinder valves

    Hi everyone,

Just wondering if there is a tool specifically for removing the end of a cylinder on a gun, where there is a brass cylindrical end with a small nipple hole, inserting allen keys and the like just dont give enough leverage to turn them out of the cylinder end.

Any advise on a tool or device to unscrew these brass ends would be appreciated, I'm trying to fix a Alros cylinder slim version adn the FX although do come off are a pain also, but they usually turn on an allen key.

    Many Thanks

    Look here: https://www.xtxair.com/products/s200...moval-tool-hex

Phil Sellwood our local gunsmith has a very large vice with lead jaws - it's extremely useful in these situations.

Phil is a gunsmith, working from his own premises. He doesn't have a shop.

I can let you have his phone number by PM.

Remember to make sure that the cylinder is completely empty before trying to remove the ends.
