Thread: Would this make a great Forum even better?

    Excellent news that it's in the offing.

    Anyone who struggles with posting images - sign up to imgur.com and install the browser plugin for it. The Chrome extension I use seems excellent. Very easy to upload or rehost images and then get the link to embed them in forum posts.

    Personally speaking I think this is a good decision.
    There are, in my opinion, several add ons that could be adopted, that would add improvements to the user experience for this forum.

    I've long seen value in adopting Tapatalk add on to the forum, as many members use mobile devices to view it. Tapatalk simplifies the user interface for forums with it installed.

    Maybe there could be a case made to move the sections around to reflect the subject nature of the forum. This would involve changing the forum set up in order to reminder their display order.

    We could also have "like" and "thanked" buttons, lending itself to a more collaborative community.

    We never got to implement these changes when I was Admin, despite having some support from within the Mod team.

    Allow in line images at the very least! Hosted anywhere! I'd also like to see a 'thanks' or 'like' button for posts. Would save all the repetitive +1 replies

    Find the sticky that says how, try it, then write it out on a sheet of paper in a way that you can understand & remember & stick it up next to the PC
