    Attaching pellets to a rifle.

Its a bit of a strange title but I am hoping someone can offer a solution. I have seen some shooters push pellets in the gaps in the recoil pad of the rifle to facilitate quick access but if you don't have such a recoil pad what other solutions are available. I know you can get specialized neck pouches or stick them in your pocket but these are not really quick access. Any inventive ideas would be great to hear.

    Kindest regards

Bit of rubber with holes punched in to it and the pellets pushed through. Strap to rifle or round your neck.

    Or old wellys https://youtu.be/yuRC3n4K3-s

I did see another one where the guy lined up pellets and poured silicone into the mould and the pellets made the holes in it. A lot of faff really. Plus mess .

    Hi

if you want I can print one of the below off to you and send it to you (foc). After cutting off the outer ring (its just a support mechanism that helps with the print) you put it on your uppermost scope turret and off you go

    PM me if you want.

    Hi

Strip of hard foam slotted with a scalpel/hot wire velcro'ed to side of stock/butt or your chosen spot.
Similar to the slotted foam fishing fly boxes from C&F etc.

I've just tried it but slots not wide enough but seems to me it would work if foam deeper and slots made wider. Maybe cut V -shaped. Just have to play around with it.

    Just a thought.

    Hombre
    Patent pending:-)))
I'm not stuck in the past, I just prefer it.

Even with my break barrel I bet I can get a pellet from my pocket and load quicker than anybody with any gadget.

Many years ago.. (the last time i used an airgun!), you could get gadgets where a small rail was fixed to the gun, then you could slot a U shaped pellet holder on to it. You could get maybe 8-10 pellets into the pellet holder, and i vaguely rmember it also came with a leather belt loop where you could store maybe 5 more pellet holders...

I'll have a look and see if I've still got it kicking around somewhere...

I don’t do it myself, but I know someone when has a blob of blue tac on his stock. A lot of people will frown upon this, but it doesn’t stop him knocking squizzers out of his walnut tree fairly regularly.
