It's an easy job mate, so either DIY or any gunsmith.
Anyone someone who can put a new piston washer in one in the Derbyshire area?

Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.
I think there is a guide to such a job over in Collectables Idiots Guide sticky.

ATB.
It can be a bit tricky to DIY but I managed it with a few simple tools.
The cost of the tools were probably about £15 but a gunsmith these days are charging £70 per hour round our way.
This may help. http://smg.photobucket.com/user/Airs...tml?sort=6&o=0
I strongly recommend the use of a spring compressor and be careful of the safety catch 'flaps' which are easily broken. Otherwise its pretty straight forward.

Thanks for the advice on this guys. To be truthful I did not fancy the job on this as it as never seen a screw driver it's a 9/10 so it's worth getting it done but it's finding someone local. Tha gunsmith I used as retired. And the nearest I can find is the airgun doctor (about 50 miles away) .
Have you thought about going to the Melbourne Marksmen at the RBL club. Sorry to stitch them up but sure someone there will do it.
They are simple enough, rifle that is, pity you can't call/send here it's a ten minute strip/rebuild with added time for spit'n polish.
