    Best Classic FT rifle

I'm looking to buy a nice working example of one of the following,
Daystste CRX, AA NJR, Sportsmatch GC 2 or similar classic .177 FT rifle.
Does any member have experience of any of these they would like to share and what do you consider the best classic of all time.
Also how do these guns compare to a modern counterpart.

a CRX is modern I had a daystate CR94 for a while... accurate, but not very air efficient...

Surely the Shamal is the classic FT PCP ? Well, OK, and the GC2
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

    .
I'm with Jon: Shamal and/or GC2. Nothing else will do.

    GC2
    Shamal
Early Daystate Huntsman, FT model if you can find one.
    NJR

I still have a GC2 and it can still hold it's own today. They're not perfect, but they are very usable.
If you go for a Shamal, try and find one that has been retro fitted with the Olympic trigger from the later 100 series.
My two Shamals both have the std trigger they came with and they're ok but thought match unit, definantly a sporter.
Try and find a FT model of the Huntsman as they came with a lovely stock and a upgraded match trigger unit with a straight blade.
    NJR is very usable.
Fully adjustable stock , match Olympic trigger unit and regulated.

Try and find the specs of the original guns before you go looking at one as a lot have been modded over the years, it all depends on how original you want it to be.

Best classic ft rifle Venom 77 Trophy or Airmasters 77 FTS.

Owned a few CRX, got a custom built john ostler version at the moment.
