    Dragon

Mint examples are nice but they must work ..the problem with these is they deteriorate with lack of use . Hence why the advice to oil up with mineral oil . Once stood in a shop after a travel to see one - the firing valve had stuck solid ..no amount of charging or pumping . Scrap .

Best advice for these is to store them nose-down so the oils stay where they need to be. I fired mine for the first time in a couple of years yesterday and it worked like a treat. Enormously heavy lump but works brilliantly

I'm excited for you, they're wonderful things. If it doesn't come with the owners manual make sure you follow the correct cocking procedure as it's not that obvious:

    1. Slide the lever release button to unlock the side lever
    2. Extend the side lever out fully (approx 120 degrees) and keep it there
    3. Depress the button inside the trigger guard to enable the charging stroke firmly until you hear a loud click
    4. Firmly and evenly compress the side lever and lock in to place
    5. Flick safety catch forward prior to taking shot

I've also got its PCP brother the PH Phoenix which is a hoot and a half to shoot as well

Its arrived and I've had a few shots. I'd forgotten how good these are.

It needs a light refurb on the stock, but that's it

Excellent, I hope you enjoy it. These tended to have some nicely figured walnut so should look splendid once refinished.
