    as far as I know the original LG45 and RWS Diana 45 used the same trigger mech the later 45 was just a restocked Diana 34

    It was the same trigger unit with a slightly altered safety on later models.

    Jim gave it a great review back in 84 which is when I got my RWS 45 in .22 since I already had a 45 in .177,should have got the .177 though as the .22 barrel was a bit tight.

    The later safeties were shorter and didn't have the metal flap. Later ones shorter and with a 'H' moulded in.

    A very helpful chap has given me some old magazine's with Model 45 test/ reviews. One of these refers to a different piston on later 45's (presumably in place by the time the RWS version arrived). Also refers to a revised stock profile for the Original 45 as well.
