H Dazza and welcome to the forum. I would have the Hw95 over the BSA every time. But then I'd rafther have genital warts than the BSA.

I second that, not the wanting warts bit but the BSA Old BSA weren't great but decent enough especially the Lighting that was a good tool. But newer stuff I woundnt step over the dog for one.

I’ve owned a few of both although there probably quite close now price wise when buying new I feel the 95k is a better rifle however I don’t like to knock other rifles as everyone is different and it’s always which rifle suits you best.

I personally can’t get on with the 95k I’ve tried loads of them from bog standard out the box and tuned versions they just don’t do it for me as I prefer dare I say actually something more Carbine.

I’ve owned a few lightings over the years and there ok sadly not in the same league as Weihrauch mainly the trigger and build quality but there still an ok gun.

The BSA though I would say size and weight wise is probably closer to the 99s range than the 95k

One of my favourite more Carbine esq rifles is the HW50K which is the imported version of the 99s although with factory screwcut barrel and no open sights this is my go to springer currently I love it.

    Hi Dazza and welcome.

Yep, at the risk of sounding too predictable......HW95. Or a 99.

95 every day....HOWEVER...if you can afford a few more of your English pounds - you wont be disappointed with a 98 at all.

Out of the 2 it has to be a 95.

They're not even in the same league
