H Dazza and welcome to the forum. I would have the Hw95 over the BSA every time. But then I'd rafther have genital warts than the BSA.
Looking at getting a new rifle. Torn between hw95k and bsa xl se. What are people's views and opinions please, thanks 😁

95k easy out of those 2,get yaself a AAS400F CLASSIC .177 i got one and its silly good.
Absolutely no contest, 95
LOOKING FOR A BSA ULTRA IN .177 and .25
I’ve owned a few of both although there probably quite close now price wise when buying new I feel the 95k is a better rifle however I don’t like to knock other rifles as everyone is different and it’s always which rifle suits you best.
I personally can’t get on with the 95k I’ve tried loads of them from bog standard out the box and tuned versions they just don’t do it for me as I prefer dare I say actually something more Carbine.
I’ve owned a few lightings over the years and there ok sadly not in the same league as Weihrauch mainly the trigger and build quality but there still an ok gun.
The BSA though I would say size and weight wise is probably closer to the 99s range than the 95k
One of my favourite more Carbine esq rifles is the HW50K which is the imported version of the 99s although with factory screwcut barrel and no open sights this is my go to springer currently I love it.
No contest, 95k or if you can handle it, the mighty HW80 in .22 Rog
Here we go again
At the end of the day it always boils down to a HW95, it always does
Mods please make this a sticky!
Oh and welcome to the forum
Cheers
Pete
Far too many rifles to list now, all mainly British but the odd pesky foreigner has snuck in
Hi Dazza and welcome.
Yep, at the risk of sounding too predictable......HW95. Or a 99.
THE BOINGER BASH AT QUIGLEY HOLLOW. MAKING GREAT MEMORIES SINCE 15th JUNE, 2013.
NEXT EVENT :- August 3/4, 2024.........BOING!!
95 every day....HOWEVER...if you can afford a few more of your English pounds - you wont be disappointed with a 98 at all.
Cheers Steve
Out of the 2 it has to be a 95.
They're not even in the same league
