If you could only have one springer what would it be?

All the usual suspects but which would come out on top?
You can spend thousands and still miss a barn door or spend just enough and enjoy yourself. If you haven't got the talent to start with a million pound won't fix it. Whippet, Russell, a few bang sticks and a flat cap. http://www.smart-tech1st.co.uk

An FAC Pro Elite (which I was going to suggest on your FAC springer thread over in the powder burner section until you decided to go PCP). If it had to be sub 12, an hw77/97 TX brood or Pro Sport.

    FAC rated HW80 in .25
    Tuned up by some wizard.
Some sort of custom made to measure stock.
With some engraving on the action too.

My .177 HW95 with Vortek kit, polished piston. Very smooth, pellet on pellet accuracy which easily beats some PCP's i have owned before.

Tried quite a few and always preferred a weighty break-barrel... until I got my 25mm HW77K, open sights, .22. The trigger, shot cycle and balance is just perfect to me and I love shooting it

Another vote for the HW77, but in .177. Fettled one years ago and regretted selling it ever since.
