Piston shaft not central to piston

Hi, stripping an old HW55, and I have found the piston shaft up the centre of the piston is at quite an angle to one side.

Any ideas how I should get this central again?

Looks like it was dragging up the spring guide and into the trigger block!

    Thanks.
    Thanks - Geoff.

Just use your hands to get it into the right position. Rolling it on a flat surface should help tell if its right
