I've used the XTX gauge with quick fill , no problem installing & also their external reg ,again easy to install and works well .
I also have an altaros one to fit but have not got round to it as yet.

XTX do a tool, £8.50, for getting those ends off. They can be bloody tight if they haven't been off before.Their fill valve is abt £70.

I had an Altaros combined quick fill and gauge on a 200 tube. Worked fine, but the anodised light alloy probe does look quite thin and vulnerable. There's not much wall thickness left after the groove for the O rings have been cut. If I had kept it (sold the rifle) I would have made a stainless steel filler probe.

Don't know about the S200 but the 400 ones are a doddle. Just unscrew the fill adaptor. Replace the O ring. Lightly use silicon grease. Put the other one back in its place and gently tighten.

Thanks everyone, I will get one and give it a go, fed up with second guessing how much air is left and blaming every poor shot on a lack of air.
Hope this catches you in time I brought one £65 it comes with adverts but no instructions but as said it's stright forward EXCEPT that dammed brass fitting for the original air in take valve is a right pig to get off I actually drilled right though it and had to put a bar through it still could not get it off at to take it to a air gun specialists who drilled it out on a lathe
Save your self some real grief buy at XTX one let Darren fit it wish I had p's if you get the £65 one Bewhere not to over tighten the dial as there is a copper ring o ring behind it and it splits thats why you get some spare in the packet
