    Walther LGR valuation

I have a right hand Walther LGR universal (adjustable butt plate and cheek piece) which is in genuinely mint condition but needs resealing.

It comes with diopter sight, the original polystyrene transit case but no manual, tool or test target.

I'm left handed so not partularly easy for me to shoot, deciding whether to keep long term given its condition or use it to finance a left hand 10m match rifle.

Would appreciate some idea of value 'as is' and resealed.

    Cheers

Hard to say because it needs re sealing. If it's the breach seal that's a cheap fix so get it done and should be worth £500+maybe more? But if it's the piston seal then it gets an expensive repair. My lgr universal had a piston seal go and it needed a whole new piston assembly which is still available from protek supplies (or at least they were 18 months ago when I had mine done ) the repair ended up costing me around £170 but with genuine walther parts . If I was you I'd get it repaired first
