    Falcon Hawk .22/ Silencer

    Hi all
Purchased above air gun that has a silencer and filling port built on to the front of the barrel
The silencer is made up of springs and plastic pieces, baffles that are shaped like a number 8 with a hole in the top for the pellet to exit and solid down the bottom area to suppress the sound
Some of these are broken and the silencer is not very silent
Do any of you have spares or know where I can get them?
If not I would fit a silencer that I have off my Logan Axor which is very quiet
I would need an adaptor to slide on to the barrel so I can screw my silencer on to it
Again I ask if any one has one for sale Or know anyone who can make me one?
    Thanks
    Mick

    Hi Mick,

you are right, although those silencers with QF look great they are less than silent. I replaced mine with a better silencer and I think the adaptor came from our sponsor JSR. Get the adaptor with two grub screws. There is also a Falcon FB group with lots of useful info.

    great rifles, best of luck.

I bought a Webley silencer adaptor thingy for mine. It screws into the end of the Falcon quick fill/silencer and leaves me with a 1/2" male thread.

Now, with an HW silencer, it's very quiet.

    All of the above.

I love the Quick fill silencers but not the quietest so had an adapter made to replace the knurled end piece with a screwed 1/2" unf thread so can be used with an additional silencer super quiet now and can be easily returned to original.

    Silencer adapter

    HI
Silencer adapter arrived this morning for the Falcon Hawk
It will not fit my muzzle end, I checked at 10 mm,must be a few thou over
I used my Dremel type grinder to remove some of the inside of the adapter with a small grind stone and checked there were no burs from the fitted silencer grub screw so lost the blueing of the muzzle
It has now been fitted and what an improvement
I had stuffed some felt discs into the lower part of the fitted silencer to try and improve it but it still sounded off with a loud crack, with the adapter and my old screw on silencer off My Axor it is more of a "phuttt"
So if you have a Falcon Hawk and a micrometer can you let me know the size of yours, the muzzle that is.
Adapter is well made and looks good £7.48 posted from Edward Ramsbottom
    Thanks
    Mick
