    Diana P1000

I know these haven't been popular, possibly due to BAR's much publicised opinion of the first batch which came over at the wrong power. Then there was a problem with the loading, but that was sorted too apparently. These issues were over five years ago now! Did anyone ever buy one, more specifically a later one. I am still after a .22 PCP and the two part stock and total lack of resembalance to an AA S4** really appeals. There are some great deals available, should I consider it?

    No-one?

Now see, that alone would usually have me clamouring for one. I watched a review on it by Nigel Allen and it all looked good to me. Except? Hang on! Rewind and watch that bit again...

OMG! The auto safety comes on every single time you cock the action?!

Way to frustrate fast-fire fun Fritz!

In the words of a Scottish fitness instructor: "I'm out!"

The Hatsan AT44 has an auto safety on too, the Galatian did not for some reason....

Independent reviews of the p1000 are a bit thin on the ground, there are a few comments in this thread

Apparently fillable to 300 bar and regulated, but the "power curve" - that was only from 175bar, looked distinctly curvy and unregulated.

I note Nigel Allen didn't show any groups in the review........

Not surprised there's an auto safety if it's a T06. Good news is it would be very easy to remove if you don't want the safety.
