    Oaks open 30th July results

Tough course today with an average score of 44, well done anyone who got near 50.
If that wasnt bad enough, the wind and Mr Byfords inability to count to 30 only made things worse
Good mornings shoot, thanks to all that turned up and those that helped clear the field away.

Appreciate all the help (and understanding) from both members and non members alike!

Unfortunately the strings got wiped out by something thursday night, causing me to get confused on Friday (not hard to do...) then a miscommunication (IE i forgot to tell anyone...) led to some more confusion...

Anyway, sorted out some of the boys i think.. i cleared the wood then doughnutted the stander then missed the kneeler, started crying and inadvertently knocked some more over!..

That wind was nasty though wasn't it

Thanks again for all the nice comments and help from all the Clubs, have a good week and have fun at Swallows next week (Sadly i shall be busy )

Nice one Gents. No shortage of wind in the field. Thoroughly enjoyable mornings shooting (apart from the doughnut on the kneeler). Thanks to Spongey and the course setters for the considerable efforts made putting out a great course today. Roll on Swallows next week.....

Well done Oakies - really appreciate the effort for today.

Not sure how i dropped 4 in the woods but that field was a teaser. At least 3 of them targets just sat there grinning at me after I carefully landed my pellet a smidge to the left or right of the kill.

    Roll on next week.
