ASI Paratrooper repeater

Ok as mentioned in an earlier post I will be selling a few vintage rifles from my collection.I don't shoot them at the range as my S410 is now my weapon of choice and space in my man cave is limited.First to go is an early MK1 ASI Paratrooper made by elgamo,its the second rifle from the top in the photo. Full working order.The front and rear sights are all made from metal.The plastic grips and butt are in very good condition.It comes with its original magazine tube which cost around £25 to replace.I was going to get round to re bluing the barrel and cylinder but dont have the time.I can try and upload better photos for those who request but this will be time dependent around my work. £90.00 plus postage or you can collect .

Hi,

Wondered if you could send a picture please to show the bluing which you mentioned & maybe describe it too, quite interested in it so can you give me a price for p&p too, I was after a wood stocked Sniper or Gamomatic but as there aren't many about I think im getting tempted/sidetracked,

Hi Rod,

Yes will see if I can get some pics sorted for you.
I have refinished one of these before as quite often with vintage rifles the bluing thins out.I have used balistol with excellent results provided you do some good prep beforehand.Its the plastic parts that are often the issue with these as replacements are very hard to find and when you do can be costly.The grips and butt plates on this are in very good condition.

Detailed pics.Original crackle finish is all intact which is not easy to replicate if you want to restore .
