TBH a spring is a spring in any event so it really does not matter - neither does cutting down the original.
its easy. cut off the first two coils at each end. then get them red hot and recrompress. then get them red hot again and dip in oil. Ohh. dont forget to file off any sharp ends.
the only thing i can find wrong is the nut on the steering wheel.
