    32/40Winchester 1894

    Despite the warning on loading an antique Winnie, I have found the originals to be far better made than the modern AE versions. I have two long barelled jobs from 1896, actions tight and smooth...nothing like the sloppy modern. AE versions. I think that Miroku make the current versions and these will probably be very good. Will not be in 32/40 however!

    If you are shooting one of these then you should really get the book, Shooting Lever Guns of the Old West by Mike Venturino. He has a short chapter on the 32/40 and lists a 26 gr load of IMR3031 behind a 170gr f/p Speer JSP to give 1636fps with a 63fps variation.
