if you're looking for a Bullpup

Well I've just been looking online at who has BullPup air rifles for sale.

    and found this

SMK Artemis P10 Shorty Bullpup .177 or .22 Pre Charged PCP Air Rifle

    http://www.countrywaygunshop.co.uk/p...pcp-air-rifle/

Yes it's a Chinese made gun but from the reviews I've seen so far it's sounds like it's well worth a punt at £275. Yes £275 for a Brand new PCP air rifle. Most other places I've just checked are pushing £500 for the same gun.

if I was in Kent I'd go and get one today. I know they have released the new P15 and that has a side leaver cocking action instead of the very rear Bolt action of the P10 and a better positioned manual safety but still for £275.... what do you want.

well hope it might be of interest to some one :-)

I've got one - my local shop price matched, or rather very close

You can see its an SMK when compared to say, my R10 or HW100 but for that money its a absolute bargain (imho)...

I would rather dangle my bare balls in a bowl of scorpions than buy a bullpup, but that is a bargain!

    How thick am I - mine is a P15.

Not thick enough to dangle my balls near a scorpion though

To bullpup or not to Bullpup

I've been told to avoid bullpups and look for "normal" rifles.... but when I look online the HW100KT and the Daystate Pulsar seem to be the veyr top end of the market so must be ok ?

What are the advantages or disadvantages of the Bullpup design ?, I plan to buy one gun... and have it last, plinking, hunting, then maybe HFT.. Can/should I buy top end BP or this ?... or stay away from the design and look to more traditional ?

    cheers

Hi SL , bullpups are an aquired taste due to being small but
i love them and currently own four bullpups, the best one being My KalbriGun Cricket fac.22 @ 28 fpe
you need to get to a gunshop to try one for size. lots of people dislike them, but i personaly love them.

You say that safe in the knowledge that if you dangled your balls near anything living, it would firstly try & run but then shrivel and die from disgust!!

i'm still saving for an FX wildcat in walnut stock .22 but these do sound like a bargain.
