I took a punt on a Steyr LG100 from a chap on here a few weeks ago. Luckily i know my way around the LG series and externally the rifle looked pretty much new. I took it apart to service it the weekend it arrived and internally the rifle looked like it had never been shot. The Steyr hammer face develops a 'pip' on the face where it strikes the firing valve but this rifle had nothing and the hammer could have been new from the look of it. The cylinder has the date of 2004 so pushing 12 - 13 years old.
