    Lovely gun, Ian.

How do you rate it compared to all the other pcp match pistols?

I imagine you've had all the others.

I rate it the best otherwise I wouldn't have two Ive owned quite a few of the other top pcp match pistols, SAM, FWB, Benelli, Steyr plus a few ssp (FAS6004, Compact, Air Match, Pardini, FWB100/103) and had shots with many more and the only other one I would personally rate is the Steyr LP2 although its high maintenance ( barrel cleaning) and its greedy with the air.
10m match pistol shooting is a very personal thing. What suits one wont suit another. I often get my 'Harris' kicked with another club member who shoots a Pardini. Another (Hippo) beats me with anything he can get his hands on (the git ).
Just try before you buy. So dont just ask - go and shoot them. Most clubs with a dedicated 10m pistol section will have members who will let you use their pistols.
ZOOMA (Bob) at Rawtenstall airgun club is a prime example of someone keen to encourage others into the sport and he has a great selection of pistols to shoot some of which are for sale.

Well done Ian, and congratulations on your choice of pistol.

We will be visiting the Walther plant in Ulm in a few weeks time, and we have been promised some time in the "Master Studio" where the anniversary model was made, along with other special editions. Look it up on their website, I may have to lock the debit card in the car before we enter!

    Have Fun

Cheers Robin and can you smuggle me in?

The Anv pistol I bought came s/h (?) from one of the club members who WON IT at the recent Northern Shooting Show. He shoots left handed so we came to some agreement ( I would stop whimpering and holding onto his leg ) if I could buy it. Wonga was exchanged. He converted his win into cash to go towards his next rifle and I received a limited edition baby.
