    Walnut stocks.

    Why is it that the walnut stocks on most guns look ok (I believe you can pay more for "selected stocks") but whenever I look at BSA R10s The woodwork always looks georgeous.
    If BSA can do it with their stocks why can't others?

    It varies depending on wood supply.

    They didn't do it on purpose.

    i was thinking the exact same thing today when i saw a lad using an r10 every one ive seen seems to be much nicer than the average ones you get from aa and daystate etc

    I've had a nice Walnut stock on a TX.

    The stock on my HW100 is one of the nicest I've seen in a long time - a very straight, detailed grain and, tiger striping on both sides, end to end, that looks almost translucent.
