Good point, as far as break barrels go, the Fenman's got to up there with one of the hardest break barrel airguns to cock !
Certainly at Sub 12 !
It all depends on the size of the lever . A short barrel on a hw99 is going to be harder to cocktail than a standard length one.
Try coking the break barrel you have now but hold it at different bits on the barrel each time.
My evolution is not as short as a fenman so I would expect the evolution to be easier than a fenman at the same pressure in the rams . Or springs in springers.

Petite, though she may be, she's got arms, shoulders and a back like Garth.
Does she do a spot of scaffolding as a day job?

Scratch yourself like you think the zoom meeting has ended.
Still not used my .22 EVO much. One field I shoot is airgun only but it's full of barley at present . So my .22lr gets used more at the farm. The fields at the farm are too open for the airgun other than lamping but I have not been lamping for ages.
Still got my hw99s in bits for tuning and the stock to refinish.
I did feel the EVO was a pain to cock if using for a while but out hunting will use less shots than targets I dare say..

I use my 7" barreled Fenman twice a week for a minimum of 200 shots a time. I have never had much of an issue except some vagina ache when I first got it.
God rest ye jelly mental men
My hw95k never had a springer easy to cock as this, very smooth and hardly any effort is needed, good thing or bad thing i dont know ?. My other springer hw99s is much harder to cock, rather stiff but smooth at same time.
