I may even be able to make one to bring to the bash.

Edit: I have just been told in no uncertain terms that rebound-free or not, it is not welcome in the garden
Sounds like your marksmanship skills are coming along nicely there, Nick.

And another 1000 rounds on the way.

Blimey, you is going to be one highly polished ball launcher by the Spring Bash!

Sounds very parful does that, Jamie.

A little like them old Relum thingies shooting through dustbins!

The knobs all settled and fine now matey.

I reckon ball bearings shaped like a mace ball would be pretty cool for a catty

They'd make a great "Thruuummmm" noise as they went through the air.

Wouldn't get far or hit much of course, but they'd sound great.

Glad to hear all is well down there, Pauly.

Not convinced about the pointy balls, though!

Mmmm, got me thinking - what about golf ball like dimples ?? Why are golf balls dimpled ?

    Googled my own answer...

"Dimples on a golf ball create a thin turbulent boundary layer of air that clings to the ball's surface. This allows the smoothly flowing air to follow the ball's surface a little farther around the back side of the ball, thereby decreasing the size of the wake"

So... Nick, if I send you a thousand 9.5mm ball bearings, could you whack in a shite load of counter-sinks in each one in a uniform kind of way ?? You could use the swarf to make into pointy ones Damn , I should go into business

Better still - all you twerps should shoot rubber balls from your catys. Yes, more annoying because of them bouncing around - but less chance of breaking my window. Boing.

You need the TBT Ball Bearing sizer mk2. Sizes and dimples your ball bearing in one easy action (pat applied for). See another solution for a problem that doesn't exist.

Frozen peas are pretty good for garden catty plinking. Saves not only breakages but obviously you don't end up with thousands of rusting bb's in the gard being flung through the air by the lawn mower!

I like Mike's vegetarian idea. What about fresh or frozen sprouts? I also have a bag of frozen berries in the freezer. They'd go well, and feed the little birds when they'd thawed out after firing.

I think Mick should ban steel, expanding, exploding, and radioactive ammo from the ranges.

Did I say banned? I meant prohibited.
