Regarding the logo I am playing with

I've always preferred the more minimalistic (maybe classier and more timeless?) designs.

So, personally, I'd be more than happy if the only writing present were to be "Quigley Hollow Airgun Club".

But, then, that's the challenge with a design and everyone will have their own idea of what works best, making it a headache for the designer. "Can't please everyone" and all that.
