I reckon you could be right there mate. I'm probably going to stick the new 3-9 x 40 Hawke Vantage on it for the moment. Not too bad for a budget scope.

It’s been many weeks now since I got out to my permission, and the range for that matter, what with Xmas, time up in The Lakes and work so.... I’m bunking off tomorrow and gonna spend a couple of hours plinking at the range and then on to ‘my’ little farm and stables for the afternoon. If I see a bit of rativity over there I may go back in the evening for a bit of NV. I’ve just made up some gooey liquidised cat-food/marmite/cooking oil bait in preparation

I'm going to have to log off very shortly, Pauly.....once she's got her bloody self organised we're meant to be watching that Big Cats programme that was on the Beeb earlier........Bremby's had two walks (wobbles) already and is sounding restless again so will probably have to take her again very shortly. She's soldiering on, bless her and a little happier since I upped her medication just over a week ago. She's having four little walkies an evening and then up again at 5.00 for her morning amble.

I'll most certainly enjoy watching that, Pauly, and will be sure to look out for you.
