Any particular reason why you would pick the MTC over the Hawke?
Only 1 reason really that is parallax error and the Hawke has lots of it. As I'm a Hft shooter I need less PE much as possible.

I'd buy the Hawke purely for the warranty support, sadly I don't have confidence in MTC under their new owners.

Take a look at Opticswarehouse: Hawke is currently on sale at £150.00, Viper Pro is £314.00

Does the £160-odd saving sway it for you?

    Thanks for the replies gents.
I have already bought the Hawke from optics. Been using it about a month.
    Very good for the money.
If I’m truthful, not the same quality as my falcon was, but does what I need it to and didn’t cost the earth.

I’d recommend it, but if there was an equivalent falcon with IR I’d have bought that
