    I like mine, 10-60x52

Rets should be clear on all mags on all scopes, as it's the eye piece's sole job to focus the ret to your eye. If it's not adjusted correctly, that can be an issue. If it is an it varies, I'd class that as a fault rather than a build limitation.

    10-60x52, same as Rob

I would say that if your main criteria for a scope is that the reticle is clear (the only criteria you've mentioned, so I assume it must the the most important) then no, for you the March is a complete waste of money. Get a Hawke or Nikko instead.

It'd be for hunting and the 3-24x42 would be perfect, with either fml1 or fma1 reticle
It's the higher number of aim points on these reticles that appeals to me

Very fair point. Only reticle I've had an issue with was on a vortex viper PST

Not the upmost priority, but I'd like a clear view as possible. Yes, probably as I'm getting older now

To achieve that with any higher mag scope around you would have to adjust focus for everything you look at.
Lower mag to around 12 will have a greater depth of view. On the 60 and 80's on 10mag can see from 20 - 60 yards with ease on the 15 i have had.
