    Hft500 or Goldstar se?

I know it's been done before but I'm looking for some new opinions.
I'm due to handle both guns tomorrow so will have an idea of fit and I've got a viper connect waiting to go on top so, hft500 or Goldstar se?

Can't help you with personal experience, but popularity is often a good indicator of a gun's worth.

Lots of shooters at the range I go to have the HFT500. I can't remember the last time I saw somebody shooting a Goldstar.

HFT 500 is the better gun of the two IMHO. Goldstar is also too light for me. It has no weight upfront to stablise the barrel and also poor shot count due to the small cylinder. with the HFT 500 once filled to about 165 bar you'd get a good 80 shots before the POI changes sufficiently that you'd need to compensate.

    HFT500 all the way IMO.

I bought one after looking into it or the Goldstar and don't regret it.

Thanks, I'm leaning towards the hft500 anyway but like the idea of the reg in the g/s.
I think my mind will be made up once I've handled them both.

The REG is mandatory on a gun with small cylinder as otherwise the shot count will be about 30. With a large cylinder gun once filled to the sweet spot you really do not need a REG.
