Why are you specifying a "match" rifle. Aren't all match rifle's low power by definition?
    For a 12fpe BR I'd get an EV2 or a FTP900.

I am darned sure the rifle did not come out of Germany at that power. He was shooting 7-8 grain pellets. I wonder, though, if the FWB 300 is engineered for greater power?

Jim that would be way down on power looking 770ft/sec min. May be a plinker but most 10m rifles do around 600-650ft/sec out the box.

So options so far that look interesting:

Harris Engineering mods an Anschutz 9015 Benchrest Start up to 16J
    Ratworks supply a 9015Benchrest modded to 16J
RAW BM500, however, I currently shoot BR with a mk2 rapid, is this different enough....Edit, no adjustable cheek piece, that's out.

Any other suggestions around what I have asked?

Have found that FWB and Walther do a nice benchrest stock on both their target platforms too. Can the firm's above mod both of these too ?

(I have a FWB300 and am not interested in any FT rifle either thanks)

    Cheers !

You can get the FWB 800 in 16j version as well. Costs around £2,500 though

FWB and Steyr both produce guns at 12 fpe. So do/did Walther.

They also produce bench rest guns at 6fpe.

So you should be able to buy a 12fpe gun, and then purchase a bench rest stock from the same maker that would fit it.

Or buy a custom stock for it.

Would work out very expensive though.

However, I know a man at my local range who is using a 6fpe German target springer for 30m benchrest.

His excellent scores have been the talk of the range.

FWB 800 ft basic is more of a contender as a 16J rifle available in the uk, bolt a nice mass to the under rail.

Maybe get a BR stock for it later.
    Thanks - Geoff.
