Nick, this is the way I clamped a scope on the Eagle as mentioned in PM... will not be as secure as your Weaver rail though.

I think its a rail, but its hard to tell from the pic. Also don't know if it wants/needs a scope? I'll see what can be done to extend its range when I see it.

I have three more rifles I definitely want in my collection, a mint mk1 or mk2 rapid, Steyr hunting scout 5 (Auto)......But as a couple of people have already suggested the one at the top of the list is an ISP Spartan with the works (engraved scroll work, colour case hardening, high grade walnut etc. )

Having spoken to Shaun I think the latter will be in the region of 3k, so I have some saving to do!

    I'd love an SLR; doesn't matter which one, 88, 98 or L1A1.

Too many to list, but deffo a theoben euro 90, a proper venom hw80, a rapid, a tx200sr, a logun axsor, an SLR 98, a vintage BSA under lever......etc. In fairness this list varies hour to hour depending on my frame of mind. Although I can say having tried one now the BSA goldstar (olden days underlever kind) is unlikely to find its way back onto the list

I already have the first 2 on my list.

    TX200 SR in MarkI .177
    TX200 lefty, walnut MarkI .177
That leaves the one I'll never get, an NJR in lefty walnut. This would be my first and only pcp. I know where I can pick up a lefty Pro Target, but I like the NJR's looks much more.

mine is the lee enfield 303 with the .22 conversion. apparently made as training rifle. found one in bedford, by the time i went back it was sold.
i love the original sights on the lee enfield.
the only thing i can find wrong is the nut on the steering wheel.

    Original Mod. 35

Had one when I was a nipper. It was in a second hand shop window by my school and I drooled over it. Someone else bought it then I bought it off them a few years later. Then it was stolen and I was very sad. Then someone sold one on this very website and I pounced. Thinking of having it buried with me
